Vitality Junior memberships

Same equipment, same classes, and someone with them while they learn how it all works.

Before you come in

Three things to know

Building good habits starts with the right support. Here are the simple ground rules we use to ensure a safe and positive experience for our younger members.

  1. 01

    Full club access

They get access to the same equipment, functional zones, and group fitness classes as an adult membership.

  2. 02

    The buddy system

A parent or guardian must be an active Vitality member and train alongside them on the floor during every visit.

  3. 03

    Face-to-face setup

To ensure we meet both of you and get everything set up correctly, Junior sign-ups happen in person at either club.

To keep our younger members safe, Junior access is linked directly to the parent or guardian’s membership. This ensures they always have an experienced training partner by their side.

At 16

It becomes a full membership on their birthday

Nothing to apply for and nothing to sign again. On their 16th birthday a Junior membership moves across to Flexi.

Independent Membership

Your membership is no longer tied to theirs. They can carry on with their training on their own schedule, and their mobile key gives them full, independent access.

$17.80 to $23.10 a week

The rate moves to the standard Flexi price. We would rather you knew that now than found it on a bank statement.

How to sign up

Call the club, or come in

Bring your child and some ID. We will go through the membership, show them around the floor, and get them started.

Questions

About Vitality Junior

Anyone aged 12 to 15, as long as a parent or guardian is an active member here. They train together, so the parent needs to be a member in their own right.
They must always tap their fob key or phone app at the door to record check-in, but only a parent or guardian will be able to unlock the door.
No. Junior sign-up happens in person at either club during staffed hours, with a parent or guardian there. It takes a few minutes, and it means we can show your child around the floor and go through how the equipment works before they start.
Their membership moves across to a full Flexi membership on their birthday. They get their own independent access using either the fob key or the app, and can train on their own, at any hour, at both clubs. The rate changes from $17.80 a week to $23.10 a week, so it is worth knowing that date is coming.
Yes, both clubs, with you alongside them. The same applies to the Junior passes.
Yes. Every class on the timetable is included in a Junior Active membership, the same as an adult one, with the exception of Strength for Life, which is for members aged 50 and over. There is no separate class pass.
There are Junior starter passes at $35 for 7 days and $100 for 30 days, plus a $15 casual pass for a single visit. None of them involve a direct debit or a minimum term.
Vitality Junior Active is $17.80 a week or $35.60 a fortnight, with a $49 joining fee and a 2-month minimum term. Passes are paid once, up front.
